Now, lets get to todays Colorful Birthday Bash!!!

On June 19th my little baby girl turned 4!! Ok...so she is not so little anymore, but she is always going to be my baby!! It was a bit of a sad day for me. She is just growing up to fast. I just wish I could slow time down for a little while!!
Here is miss Kaitlyn the day she was born:

Here she is the day of her 4th birthday:

This past Saturday we had a birthday party for her. I decided to do a party of bright colors. It's the perfect way to decorate for a party!!!
I wanted to do a few more decorations then I did, but we were originally going to do her party at a park so I held back a little bit, but the wind got so bad we just ended up doing it at our house anyway. It still worked out perfect though!!!

Here is what it looked like:

I am going to go through everything I made and put out for decorations. So first up:

I made the Happy Birthday Blocks a while ago to put up the day of someone's birthday in our family. The colors went perfect with the theme I chose so up it went!!! To see how I made it go HERE.

I also put up my can of the Sucker Bouquet and the can of Balloons that I just made last week for her birthday. I used the digital scrapbooking software called MyMemories that I talked about above!!! To see how I made them go HERE.

I also put up 2 pictures of Kaitlyn. I put up one from when she was born and also one of her on her birthday. (Those are the ones I showed you of her above.)

Next up is the second part of the decor.

We had funfetti cupcakes and softy and gooey rice crispy treats for dessert. I also had a bowl of gummy bears too! Trying to bring out lots of bright colors! For drink we had a few different soda's for our family and friends to choose from.

I made this cupcake/dessert stand for the party and for other party's too! I am going to do a tutorial on how I made it later this week. Be sure to come back to see what I did!!!
Miss Kaitlyn LOVED her party and the decor I put up!

Hope you enjoyed reading about our fun colorful birthday bash!!

******************************

Today, I have my very last 4th of July Decor to show you! It has been so fun making all these fun and cute decorations to put up in the house to make it festive!

Here is the Freedom Wreath Sign:

Overall this was very easy to make, just a little time consuming!

How I made it:

First, I measured out my piece of wood to fit the width of the wreath and then gave a few inches extra so I could put the word on the bottom. The size I did was 15 1/2"x 11".  My hubby cut it to size for me!

Next, I spray painted it red. The Lazy Man's way:) I was going to hand paint it, but spray painting is just much easier.

While that was drying I made the wreath. I used the same technique I did on my American Flag Ruffle Wreath

-I cut out a bunch of circles using a small cup as my guide. Then I folded the circle in half and in half again. The I put a pin at the point of the circle and stuck it in the wreath-making sure I turned them different directions.

When I got the wreath put together. I cut out the word "Freedom" on my circut in the font I wanted. I used white vinyl. I then stuck it onto the bottom of the board.

Lastly, I got some silver ribbon and put it through the wreath. Then I hot glued it on!!

Definitely easy like I said, just takes a little time!!!

I just love it though. I put it on a easel on the shelf above my TV!

Happy Decorating!!!
