Quick Frame Makeover

This past Christmas my hubby and daughter gave me a mirror that they had etched a scripture onto and a picture of the Salt Lake City Temple. To read about my religion go HERE. The frame on the mirror did not match my room decor where I hung it up and I am not a big fan of gold. So I wanted to change the color of it. Here is what it looked like before:
I am sorry its hard to read, but the scripture is from Matthew 19: 26. It reads, "With God all things are Possible."

I decided to go with black because it matches my room and if I end up moving it, that's a good color to go anywhere. So I got my spray paint out and got to work.

I couldn't take the mirror out because of the way they put it in there. So I got out blue painters tape and covered the mirror.

I spayed 4 coats of paint on it. I really wanted it good and covered.

Then I let it dry and took the tape off! That's all I did! Super easy, but here is the awesome transformation:

I just LOVE the transformation! I really makes everything stand out on it! It is brighter because the sun is on it, but inside it looks much better then before!
