Thanksgiving Blocks

This Thanksgiving season I am trying to add a bunch more decorations to put up in the house. I realized that I didn't really have much so I am trying to fix this. I really love Thanksgiving and I not one that likes to go from Halloween to Christmas.

I was looking through Pinterest one day at Thanksgiving decor that others have done. I saw some really cute wood blocks and had to make some for myself.
Aren't they so cute?!?

Here is how I did mine:
What you need:
 -3 blocks of wood.
 One 9"x2.5"
One 7"x2.5"
One 5"x2.5"
-Paint- Brown, Orange, Yellow
-Stain
-Tan and Brown Vinyl

First, I painted each block a different color. I only put paint on the top of the block.
I put 2 coats of paint on each of them.

When the paint dried, I sanded around the edges to clean the blocks up.
Then I stained all the blocks with the color Early American.

While those dried I cut out the words on my cricut.

I then put those on the blocks and added some brown tulle and burlap to the top.
Here is what mine look like all done:

I LOVE the way they turned out and I Love Pinterest for a super cute idea!!
