Halloween Topiary

A couple of months ago I made a Cupcake Liner Topiary for my kitchen. When I was first thinking about doing this I thought it would be super cute to switch out the topiary and make some for the holidays or seasons. With Halloween coming up it was time to make the switch!

What You Need:

-A pot or container to put it in (I used the same pot from my other one)
-Styrofoam squares to put in the pot
-Wood dowel
-Paint
-Styrofoam ball
-Halloween cupcake liners
-Spider rings (I used orange and black)
-Confetti paper
-Hot glue gun

How To Make It:
First, paint the wood dowel the color of our choice. I chose to paint mine black. When that dries hot glue it into the styrofoam ball so it stays in place.

Next, you will start gluing the cupcake liners in. I wrapped the cupcake liner around a chopstick giving it a flat surface. It would be best to use a wood dowel, but I used the last of mine for the topiary. This also helps so you don't burn your fingers!
Then put a dab of hot glue on it and push it into the styrofoam ball. Hold it for a few seconds so it will stick. Otherwise it will probably come out. You will glue them right next to each other in a row, continuing all the way around the ball. I did mine close together because I like that look, but you can do them farther apart for a looser look.
When I got that all done I put it the pot. The pot already had styrofoam in it from my other topiary, but at this point you would need to put that in if you don't already. You can hot glue it in you would like, but I didn't because of switching them out.

Lastly, add the finishing touches. Hot glue the spiders on the topiary and put the confetti paper in the pot to hide to styrofoam. I also put a few spiders in the paper.
Here it is all done...
I loved how it turned out!!
