While browsing around on Pinterest I saw a few different wreaths for the 4th of July. People have made them look like flags. Here is one that I liked:

Isn't this idea so fun?!? I wanted to make it my own though. So I came up with a different way of doing it. I have always loved this wreath that I saw on Pinterest:

It looks so pretty all put together with the felt quarter folded circles. It totally makes it look like ruffles!!
I did this same technique in the felt wreath, but made it into a flag wreath!
To start I cute out a TON of circles using a cup as my guide.
After I traced them all onto the felt....I had a CUTTING PARTY!!! Wahoo!! Ok it wasn't too fun but I put in a movie and got to work.
After I cut a bunch out I started pinning them to the wreath. Here is what you do: fold the circle in half and in half again. Then stick a pin in the bottom of your quarter circle and pin it into the wreath.
When you pin them into the wreath, you can space them out how you like. I wanted them some what close so it looked fuller. Also, I turned them in every direction so it then makes it look like ruffles! I also made sure I went on the inside and outside of the wreath.
HONESTLY...this took me a few days to get done. My hands starting hurting bad so I just did a little bit at a time. I don't know the exact number but I know there is over 300 circles on the wreath!!!
It took forever, but it was SO WORTH IT!!
Next, I painted some wood stars white that I got at the craft store.
I hot glued those to the blue section on the wreath.
Lastly, my sweet hubby made a little thing for me to be able to hang it up. He took 2 nails and wrapped wire around them. I then stuck it into the wreath where I wanted it to be. Then I put a lot of hot glue around the nails to help secure it in place.
Now, for The BIG REVEAL. Here is what it looks like all done:
EEEK!!! Isn't it SO CUTE?!?! Ahh, I just LOVE it!!!

That is SO cute! I like how you took the time to wrap the colors all the way around and nearly to the back of the wreath...last time I tried this kind of wreath I got tired of cutting and cheated by stopping a bit short on the sides. Looks great!

This is soooo cute! I have been wanting to make a wreath, but I have dreaded cutting out all those circles. One of these days I am going to have to make one!
