HAPPY WEDNESDAY ALL!!!
To help us get through the middle of the week...which sometimes drags...I have a fun birthday party project and an
AWESOME GIVEAWAY
for you!!!!
Today I am going to be using a digital scrapbooking software called:
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I have grown to love this program in just the short time I have been using it. It is so easy to use. They have the cutest paper, boarders, and embellishments to help make any occasion special!!
For my little project today, I want to show you what I made using this program.
Yesterday was my little miss' birthday!!! She turned 4! I wanted to make this birthday special and fun.
I had 2 crisco cans in my craft room, that I saved, just wanting to be used. I knew I could make cute table center pieces with these. With the help of this amazing software I was able to make that possible!
Don't they just look so cute on the table!
The first one I made is the
DUMB DUMB SUCKER BOUQUET
To Make the Label:
-I opened the program and chose 8 1/2 x 11 paper and the landscape portrait
-When that opened I clicked on shapes. I chose the rectangle/square shape. I made it to the size of the can. In the shapes section I chose to color the shape purple
-Next, I added another shape. I did the rectangle scalloped border. I stretched that out to the length of the purple one. To give it a little frilly edge.
-Then I added another shape. I did the rectangle again and made it to fit inside the boarder. I colored it orange.
-Lastly, I printed 2 of them. (One goes halfway around the can)
To Make the Bouquet:
-I put styrofoam in the can and added a styrofoam ball to it using a stick to hold it together. Then I just stuck suckers in all around the ball! Super Easy!!!
I LOVE how it turned out!!!
The Second One I made is the
BALLOON CAN
To Make the Label:
-I opened up the program and used 8 1/2 x 11 in landscape portrait
-When that opened, I added the rectangle shape. I made it to the size of the can. In the shape section you can add paper to your shape. I chose the gold and white stripes.
-Next, I chose the rectangle shape again. I chose the purple polkadot paper to put in the stripe around the can.
-Then I added a rectangle scalloped shape and colored it a bright green.
-Next, I added text and colored it white
- Lastly, I printed 2 of them (only one goes halfway around the can) but on the second one I took of the happy birthday box so it was just the yellow and purple.
To Finish with Balloons:
-I tied the balloons around a rock and stuck them in the can
-Then I added tissue paper around the balloons
Definitely LOVE the way it looks!
