Pallet Board Clothespin Wreath Tutorial

Happy Wednesday All!!!

First off, I feel like I need to say....I'M BACK!!!! HAHA! Even though I have been here the last almost 2 weeks with the Birthday Bash, I have felt a little lost not posting about my crafting and such! Thanks again to everyone who partied with us during that time! I can't believe Two Yellow Birds Decor is ONE!!!

Today I wanted to show you a fun clothes pin wreath I made. I got the idea on pinterest back around Christmas Time. Someone had done one for Christmas and I loved it. The idea has been with me since and finally I have gotten around to make me one!

So Here is the
Pallet Board Clothespin Wreath:

What You Will Need:
-Piece of Cardboard {or something thin and sturdy}
-Felt {Optional}
-Hot Glue Gun
-Various sizes of clothespins {I used Large and Medium}
-Scrapbook paper
-Mod Podge
-Brush
-Ribbon

How To Make It:
Let me just say this is super easy to make it just takes time!!
 First off, cut your cardboard in a circle. I used a tupperware bowl as my guide. I measured on the clothespins how far it would grab onto something and cut out the inside of the circle.

I didn't want to leave the cardboard showing so I covered it in felt and hot glued it to the cardboard.

Next I got my clothespins out.

I got some scrapbook paper out and used one clothespin to trace a bunch on the papers.

Then I cut them all out.  Next, I mod podged the paper to them.

Here is what they look like all done:

Then I clipped them to the wreath how I wanted them to be.

I thought it would be super cute to hang the wreath on some wood from a pallet board. so the next project was making that board.
My hubby had this bad boy in the garage....
I was so excited when he got done using it. I told him it was mine!!! He being the amazing hubby that he is, cut it all up for me to use the wood from.

He helped me get pieces together that looked good and connected them together. {He took smaller boards and stapled them to the back.}
{The second one is for another project later!}

Next, I look some wire and screws and....my hubby put them in for me....to be able to hang it up.

Lastly, I took some tulle and hot glued it to the wreath and then to the back of the pallet board I made to hang it up.

Here are some more pictures of it:

I just LOVE how it looks!! What do you think??
