About 2 years ago I bought some silver earrings. They are fake silver so they have been turning copper. I love the earrings and didn't want to throw them away. I knew I had to do something to revive them.
After some thought I decided that a simple and easy way to freshen them up would be to add little spray paint to them!
To get started I had to remove the earring hooks.
So I got some needle nose pliers and pulled them off.
Next, I got out the spray paint I wanted to use for them.
I chose an aqua blue for one pair
And white for the other pair.
I put 3 coats on each side of the earrings to get them fully covered and vibrant.
When those fully dried,
I put a coat of lacquer on it. I wanted to give it a shiny look and to protect the paint.
Lastly when those dried I put the earrings hooks back on them.
I love how they turned out!
Such a simple way to give a fun change to worn out earrings!
