Fruit Pizza

Today I want to show you a super fun way to have a pizza and an amazing dessert. This would be a great and unique dessert to share at a party or to just have at home.

It is called
FRUIT PIZZA!!
Doesn't it look so pretty?!?

HOW TO MAKE IT:
First, you will need to make a sugar cookie dough. I used the one I have shared with you before called Soft Sugar Cookies. You can go HERE to find that.

I rolled the dough out onto a round pizza stone and baked it.
I let that cool for a few hours.

Then I made a Cream Cheese Frosting:
1- 8 oz. Cream Cheese {softened-
I left mine out on the counter for a few hours before I made this}
2 cups Powdered Sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla

I spread that all over the giant sugar cookie!
I refrigerate this until ready to serve because I like it nice and cold!

When you are ready to serve, cut up any fruit that needs cutting and place in layers on it going in circle motion.

Good Fruits for the Pizza are:
-Strawberries
-Pineapples
-Grapes
-Raspberries
-Kiwi
-Blueberries
-Mandarin Oranges
-Apples

Those are ones I have used on them before. You don't need to use all of them. Just pick a few and then rotate them on the pizza. I have never done apples before until this last time. I dipped them in the pineapple juice so they didn't turn brown. I was actually really surprised how good they were on it.

It really isn't hard to make and is super DELICIOUS!!

When you are serving it, just cut it up pizza style so everyone gets a "slice" of
Fruit Pizza!!

  2. I love fruit pizza! I used to make them for spreads at work because everyone was always so impressed but they were so easy to make. It was always the first thing to disappear from the table. I always had to make 2 of them - one to leave home & one to take to work or my family would have a fit! the only thing I did different was I always used the pre-made Pillsbury sugar cookie dough in the tube for my crust.

Seeing this makes me want to make it again, but now that I'm not working I'd only have to make one of them!
