Last week I showed you how to make Potion Bottles.
If you didn't see that post go HERE.
I told you at the end of the post that I had something more to show you. Something I made to put by the bottles. Today, I am going to show you what that is!!!
A few weeks ago I went to Swiss Days and saw a cute saying someone had done on a sign. It said,
BUBBLE BUBBLE TOIL & TROUBLE.
I wrote it down because I wanted to do something with it for Halloween. As I thought about the potion bottles I knew this would be PERFECT to put next to them!!
I wanted the sign to look old since that is what I did with my potion bottles. So I grabbed a piece of pallet board wood that my hubby had cut up awhile ago.
This was the perfect piece to get that old look!
To get the saying on the board:
First I cut it out with vinyl on my cricut.
As you can see I removed the letters on it so now I have the silhouette of them.
Next, I transfered that over on to the piece of wood.
Then I took cream craft paint and painted it where the letters should be. I did 2 coats of that on there.
I waited about 30 min. for that to dry and then peeled the vinyl off.
Here is the finished product:
I love the way the lettering looks!!
Now for PART 2 of Potion Bottles--
Here is what it looks like next to them....
I AM SO ECSTATIC ABOUT THIS PROJECT!!!!!
I love the way everything turned out! Just how I had visioned and such a fun decor for Halloween!

Love Hamlet and those witches! So cute! I have a lot of plank wood in the garage begging to be made into a sign. I may just have to use this! Thanks for sharing at the Pomp Party!
