{Paint Chip Board} Easter Decor

I can't believe Easter is just a few weeks away!
I am feeling a little behind on getting crafts and decor done that I want to for the upcoming holiday. I had lots of flu sickness around my house for a few days, which put me behind a bit. Sorry I am just getting around to getting my Easter Decor up!

Little Story Before:
Awhile ago I was at Home Depot with the hubs looking around at things. We walked by the Paint Chip Boards and I decided to get a "few samples" to "try" out! {Which really means maybe I can use them for something in the future!}

I put them in the cupboard and forgot about them until I was looking through my things to see what I could use up to make my Easter Decor. I saw some cute Easter/Spring colors in the mix so I had to come up with something to make with them. I also found a frame I had bought at the dollar store awhile ago.

I decided to see if the paint chip board fit into the frame and it fit perfectly width wise, but was just a little short length wise. I knew I could fake it with something so I went ahead and got things ready.

What I Used:

-5"x7" Frame -bought from the Dollar Store
-Pink Shade Paint Chip Board
-Vinyl Cut Out
-Jute or Ribbon

How I Made It:

First I put the Chip Board in the Frame underneath the mat that came with the frame.
I decided that I liked the look of the color of the mat with it, so I used this as an extender of the paint chip board. I tried white, but it didn't look as cute.

Using my Circut I cut out the word Easter. I cut that out in light purple vinyl. Then I transferred that onto the glass of the frame.

Lastly, I tied a piece of jute around the frame for a little added embellishment.
Simple, but DIFFERENT and fun!!

I love how it turned out and I love how its a little different!
What do you think??
